(This is for 2 years multiple entry Nigerian Visa on a valid US passport).
Documents required to obtain a Nigerian Tourist/Visitor's visa:
*Adults (Above 18 years):
1. Valid US Passport (at least 6 months validity - visa will be denied for anyone holding passport that expires in less than 6 months) Do Not send Photocopy, we need your physical US Passport Booklet. the Nigerian visa will be placed inside your US Passport Book and returned to you.
2. One recent passport photograph of each Visa applicant.
*Please include flight itinerary (if available),
Evidence of funds to cover stay in Nigeria. (A copy of the applicant’s bank statement, showing their name and address, hide/black out the account or card numbers).
*Please include hotel booking (if available), If you do not have a hotel booking,
please provide the following:
a. Copy of your inviters (host) Valid Nigerian Passport (if available) showing the data/signature page with the inviters’ signature.
b. A letter of invitation from Nigeria addressed to the Consulate General of Nigeria. Letter must state the address where the applicant will be staying and must be signed and dated by the inviter (host). The signature on the invitation letter must match that of the inviters (host) Nigerian Passport.
Holders of non-US passports must provide proof of legal residency (Photocopy of green card).
Please include a self addressed prepaid return overnight shipping envelope with tracking number, (Your Shipping labels must include the name of the applicant and your phone number)
Processing time will start once all required documents are received. Any missing requirements will delay the visa processing.
*Minors (0-18 years):*

(Do not send the Original, the embassy keeps this document on file. It will not be returned)

page showing your bio data and picture) - Scanned copies are accepted, please print and include in your package.
4. Letter of consent signed by both parents and NOTARIZED.
(The letter must state that the lawful custodial parent and/or non-custodial parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of the child has my/our consent to travel with the specified accompanying person to Nigeria. The letter must be addressed to the Consulate of Nigeria, Atlanta.

This certificate is usually issued to Nigerians who lose their passport while abroad. This certificate helps them to return to Nigeria. An Emergency Travel Certificate is usually valid for one journey to Nigeria only and must be surrendered to immigration authorities at the port of entry.
